Legal
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 7, 2026
These terms cover the bzzy waitlist site as it works today, and they preview the rules that will govern the marketplace when it opens.
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and bzzy LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“bzzy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website at www.bzzy.life (the “Site”) or joining our waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. What bzzy is today
Today, bzzy operates a pre-launch waitlist website. The Site lets you learn about bzzy and sign up to be notified when it becomes available. The full bzzy marketplace application (the “App”) is not yet available. Sections marked Full platform — for launch describe terms that will apply to the App once it launches and are provided for transparency; they are not yet in effect.
3. Eligibility, minors, and parental involvement
The Site is intended for use by adults (18+) and by minors (under 18) with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
bzzy requires parent/guardian involvement for all minors under 18. This is broader than the general “13 and older” standard many social media services use, and it is intentional. Because bzzy facilitates real, paid, in-person local work and the handling of money involving minors — activities also governed by child labor laws and payment rules separate from privacy law — a parent or legal guardian must be involved for any user under 18. Federal law (COPPA) requires verifiable parental consent for children under 13, and some states impose additional parental-consent or age-verification requirements for older minors; bzzy's approach is designed to meet or exceed these.
If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with your parent's or guardian's knowledge and permission. If you provide a minor's information (for example, a kid joining the waitlist), you confirm that you are their parent or guardian, or that a parent or guardian has agreed.
Full platform — for launch
The App will require verified parent/guardian involvement for every minor, verifiable parental consent for children under 13 as required by COPPA, compliance with applicable state consent and age-verification laws, and a linked parent or guardian to approve a minor's activity (jobs, messages, meetups, and payouts). Detailed eligibility, verification, parental-consent, and child-labor-compliance terms will be published before launch.
4. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to bzzy, a spot in any beta, or any particular timing. We may contact you about bzzy's launch and related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time (see our Privacy Policy).
5. Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or someone else's information without permission.
- Use the Site unlawfully or to harm, harass, or defraud others.
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, scrape, or overload the Site.
- Infringe our or anyone's intellectual property or other rights.
We may suspend or remove access for any misuse.
6. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including the bzzy name, logo, the “Kids Owned · Adult Operated” tagline, text, graphics, and design — are owned by bzzy LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use them without our written permission, except as allowed by these Terms.
7. The marketplace
Full platform — for launch
When the App launches, additional terms will govern the marketplace, including at least: the roles and responsibilities of kids, parents/guardians, and neighbors; parent approval for every job, message, meetup, and payout; neighbor identity verification and background checks (subject to FCRA consent and disclosures) before a neighbor can post jobs; payments — how funds are held and released, the platform fee, subscriptions, and the custodial/guardian-managed wallet structure; conduct and safety rules, reporting, suspension, and removal; and the nature of bzzy as a platform that connects users, along with the respective responsibilities of users for the in-person work and interactions arranged through it. These marketplace terms will be published and agreed to before you can use the App.
8. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, bzzy LLC and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Site.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless bzzy LLC and its owners, employees, and agents from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting the future App will be accompanied by appropriate notice.
