Bzzy currently operates a pre-launch website and waitlist. The provisions of this Privacy Policy concerning the waitlist describe our current practices.

Certain sections also describe information that may be collected when Bzzy’s beta program, mobile application, or marketplace features become available. Bzzy will provide additional notices and obtain any legally required consents before collecting personal information through those features.

Bzzy may also provide a separate children’s privacy notice, direct notice to parents, or notice presented at the time particular information is collected. Those additional notices supplement this Privacy Policy.

When you join the Bzzy waitlist, request beta access, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Site, we may collect the following information:

• Contact information, including your email address and any name or other contact information you voluntarily provide.
• User-type information, including whether you identify as a parent or guardian, neighbor, or teenager age 15 or older.
• Household information, including the number of children in your household.
• Interest and preference information, including the types of tasks you are interested in and whether you are interested in beta participation.
• Communications, including information you provide when you contact us or respond to a survey, email, or other communication.
• Internet and device information, including your IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, dates and times of visits, and interactions with the Site.
• Cookie and analytics information, which may be collected through cookies, scripts, pixels, or similar technologies used to operate, secure, and understand use of the Site.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, and through service providers that assist us in operating the Site.

Our waitlist and contact forms are currently processed by Formspree. Our Site also uses [IDENTIFY ANALYTICS PROVIDER, INCLUDING FLOCK/LOVABLE IF APPLICABLE] to provide website analytics. • Information used to confirm the adult’s relationship to or authority over a minor;

• Approved tasks, communications, payments, and withdrawals; and
• Records of actions taken through the parent or guardian account.

Identity, Age, and Eligibility Information

This may include:

• Age or age-range information;
• Information used to verify identity or eligibility;
• Government-issued identification, if necessary;
• Verification status and results;
• Background-check status and results, where applicable; and
• Fraud-prevention and account-security information.

Where possible, Bzzy will receive and retain verification status rather than copies of identification documents or full background-check reports.

Task and Marketplace Information

This may include:

• Tasks posted, offered, requested, accepted, completed, or canceled;
• Task descriptions, prices, schedules, and locations;
• Availability and service preferences;
• Applications, offers, and approvals;
• Ratings, reviews, and feedback;
• Task and transaction history; and
• Records relating to disputes, refunds, cancellations, or complaints.

Location Information

This may include:

• Neighborhood or general service area;
• Approximate location;
• A task or service address;
• Location information necessary to display relevant tasks; and

Bzzy will limit access to precise addresses and other sensitive location information. Exact task locations should be disclosed only when reasonably necessary, such as after required verification and parent or guardian approval.

Communications

• Communications among minors, parents or guardians, neighbors, and Bzzy;
• Customer-support communications;
• Reports, blocks, complaints, and moderation decisions; and
• Photographs, audio, video, or other content submitted through the Platform.

Bzzy may monitor or review communications where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate reports, enforce our terms, prevent fraud, or comply with law. Bzzy does not guarantee that every communication will be reviewed.

Payment and Tax Information

This may include:

• Payment method and transaction information;
• Payout account information;
• Amounts paid, earned, refunded, or withdrawn;
• Taxpayer information where legally required; and
• Records necessary for payment processing, accounting, reporting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Full payment-card and bank-account credentials may be collected directly by Bzzy’s payment provider rather than stored by Bzzy.

Safety Information

This may include:

• Emergency contact information;
• Safety check-ins;
• Incident reports;
• Complaints involving users or tasks;
• Evidence submitted in connection with a report;
• Blocking and account-restriction information; and
• Information necessary to investigate or respond to potential harm, abuse, fraud, or violations of law.

Device and Usage Information

This may include:

• IP address;
• Device and browser type;
• Device identifiers;
• Operating system;
• Application version;
• Log and diagnostic information;
• Pages and features used;
• Dates, times, and duration of use;
• Referring URLs; and
• Cookie, analytics, and similar technology information.

Parent or Guardian Involvement

Bzzy requires a parent or legal guardian to be involved in and approve the participation of every Platform user under 18.

A minor may not independently create or use a Bzzy worker account. Before a minor may use the Platform, Bzzy will require the minor’s account to be linked to an approved parent or legal guardian account.

Children Under 13

The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) requires covered online services to provide direct notice to parents and obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from a child under 13, subject to limited exceptions.

Before collecting personal information from a child under 13, Bzzy will:

• Provide the child’s parent or legal guardian with direct notice of our practices;
• Obtain verifiable parental consent;
• Explain the information we intend to collect and how it will be used and disclosed;
• Give the parent or guardian the opportunity to consent to collection and internal use without consenting to disclosures that are not integral to the service;
• Allow the parent or guardian to review or request deletion of the child’s personal information;
• Allow the parent or guardian to refuse further collection or use; and
• Avoid conditioning participation on the disclosure of more information than is reasonably necessary.

Bzzy may collect a parent’s online contact information for the limited purpose of requesting parental consent. If consent is not received within [30] days, Bzzy will delete that contact information and any associated unverified minor registration information, unless retention is required by law.

Teenagers Ages 13 Through 17

Teenagers may have privacy rights under applicable state law. Bzzy will obtain consent from the teenager, the parent or guardian, or both, as required by applicable law and the nature of the information being processed.

Bzzy will not treat a teenager’s consent as a substitute for required parent or guardian involvement in tasks, communications, payments, or other Platform activities.

Waitlist Participation by Minors

A minor should not independently submit personal information through Bzzy’s waitlist.

A teenager age 15 or older who wishes to join the waitlist must do so with a parent’s or legal guardian’s involvement and provide the parent’s or guardian’s contact information through the designated signup process. Bzzy will contact the parent or guardian before treating the minor as eligible for beta or Platform participation.

If we learn that a child under 13 provided personal information without appropriate parental involvement, we will delete the information unless we are legally permitted or required to retain it.

We may use personal information to:

• Operate and maintain the Site and Platform;
• Manage the waitlist and beta program;
• Create and administer accounts;
• Link minor accounts to parent or guardian accounts;

• Facilitate tasks, communications, approvals, payments, and payouts;
• Display tasks based on location and user preferences;
• Provide customer support;
• Communicate about account activity and service updates;
• Protect the safety of minors and other users;
• Prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, abuse, misconduct, or security incidents;
• Conduct identity verification and background checks where appropriate;
• Enforce our terms, policies, and community standards;
• Improve and evaluate the Site and Platform;
• Maintain records and conduct internal business operations;
• Comply with tax, accounting, reporting, and other legal obligations;
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
• Carry out other purposes disclosed at the time information is collected.

We will not use a minor’s personal information for purposes materially different from those disclosed to the parent, guardian, or minor without providing additional notice and obtaining any required consent.

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.

Other Platform Users

Information may be disclosed to other users as necessary to facilitate a task or transaction. For example:

• A neighbor may see limited information about an eligible worker, such as a display name, general service area, approved task categories, and ratings;
• A minor and the minor’s parent or guardian may see information about a task and the neighbor posting it;
• A parent or guardian may see activity involving a linked minor account; and
• Task participants may receive the information necessary to complete an approved task.

Bzzy will not publicly display a minor’s full name, home address, school, telephone number, email address, precise real-time location, or other direct contact information.

Exact task locations should be disclosed only to approved participants when reasonably necessary. Users may not use information obtained through Bzzy to contact a minor outside the Platform except as expressly authorized by the parent or guardian and permitted by Bzzy’s rules.

Service Providers

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the Site and Platform, such as providers of:

• Cloud hosting and data storage;
• Website and application analytics;
• Communications and email delivery;
• Payment and payout processing;
• Identity, age, and guardian verification;
• Background checks;
• Fraud detection and security;
• Customer support;
• Safety and content moderation; and
• Accounting, legal, insurance, and other professional services.

Service providers may process personal information only for authorized purposes and subject to appropriate contractual, confidentiality, security, retention, and deletion obligations.

Legal, Safety, and Compliance Purposes

Where legally required, Bzzy will provide notice before personal information becomes subject to materially different privacy practices.

Bzzy may use third-party providers to conduct identity verification, age assurance, guardian verification, eligibility reviews, or background checks.

Where the Fair Credit Reporting Act or another applicable law applies, Bzzy will provide required disclosures, obtain appropriate authorization, and follow applicable adverse-action procedures.

Verification providers may collect information directly from users under their own privacy notices. Bzzy will seek to limit the information it receives and retains to verification or eligibility results and information reasonably necessary to operate and protect the Platform.

Certain limited profile information may be visible to authenticated Platform users as necessary to facilitate tasks.

Bzzy will design minor profiles to minimize identification and safety risks. Unless expressly disclosed and approved through the parent or guardian process, Bzzy will not make a minor’s:

• Full legal name;
• Home address;
• School;
• Personal email address;
• Telephone number;
• Precise real-time location;
• Regular schedule or routine; or
• Off-platform contact information

publicly available.

Parents and guardians should review a minor’s profile and task activity and instruct the minor not to include personal contact, location, school, schedule, or other sensitive information in usernames, profiles, messages, reviews, photographs, or task descriptions.

Bzzy and its service providers may use cookies, scripts, pixels, software development kits, and similar technologies to:

• Operate the Site and Platform;
• Maintain sessions and preferences;
• Authenticate users;
• Prevent fraud and security threats;
• Understand Site and Platform usage;
• Diagnose technical problems; and
• Improve performance.

Bzzy does not use minors’ personal information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Bzzy does not use minors’ personal information to profile them in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

If these practices change, Bzzy will update this Privacy Policy, provide legally required notice, and obtain any required consent before the change takes effect.

Bzzy retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide and protect the Site and Platform, complete transactions, resolve disputes, comply with law, and enforce agreements.

Unless a longer period is required by law or reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal claims:

• Waitlist information will be retained until you request deletion, [24] months after your last interaction with Bzzy, or [12] months after Bzzy determines it will not launch in your area, whichever occurs first;
• Unverified minor and parent-contact information will be deleted within [30] days if required parental consent or verification is not completed;
• Precise location information, if collected, will be retained only for the period reasonably necessary to facilitate and document the applicable task and address safety or dispute concerns;
• Account and profile information will generally be retained while the account remains active and for [NUMBER] years after closure, subject to applicable exceptions;
• Payment, transaction, and tax information may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, payment, and financial-services laws;
• Safety, complaint, fraud, and dispute records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misconduct, prevent repeat violations, resolve disputes, and establish or defend legal claims;
• Verification and background-check information will be retained only for as long as necessary for the verification or eligibility purpose and applicable legal requirements.

When information is no longer required, Bzzy will delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it using reasonable measures designed to protect against unauthorized access or use.

Bzzy uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of information involving minors.

These measures may include access controls, encryption, authentication safeguards, service-provider oversight, employee or contractor access restrictions, security monitoring, incident-response procedures, and periodic evaluation of our security practices.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Accordingly, Bzzy cannot guarantee absolute security.

Users should protect their account credentials and notify Bzzy promptly at [SECURITY@BZZY.LIFE] if they believe an account or personal information has been compromised.

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

• Confirm whether Bzzy processes your personal information;
• Access personal information;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;

• Obtain a portable copy of certain information;
• Withdraw consent;
• Restrict or object to certain processing;
• Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling;
• Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request; and

Parents and legal guardians may also have the right to:

• Request deletion of their child’s personal information;
• Refuse further collection or use of their child’s personal information; and
• Withdraw previously provided consent.

Older minors may have privacy rights independent of their parents or guardians under applicable law.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we deny a request, we will explain the basis for the denial and provide appeal instructions where required.

Certain information may be retained notwithstanding a deletion request when reasonably necessary to complete transactions, protect users, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or establish or defend legal claims.

For users in New York under 18, Bzzy processes personal information only as permitted by the New York Child Data Protection Act and other applicable law.

Bzzy will limit processing to information strictly necessary for permissible purposes unless the legally required consent has been obtained. Bzzy will not use a minor’s information for an undisclosed purpose that is materially different from the purpose for which the information was collected without providing additional notice and obtaining any required consent.

The Site and Platform may contain links to third-party websites, social-media services, or other services not controlled by Bzzy.

This Privacy Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of those third parties. Users should review the privacy notices of third-party services before providing information to them.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, practices, or legal obligations change.

We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the “Last Updated” date. If a change materially affects how we collect, use, or disclose personal information, particularly information concerning minors, we will provide additional notice and obtain any required consent before the change takes effect.
